Submersible Cage Culture



The Submersible Cage Culture can be used for aquaculture research. This will give benefit to domestic and international researcher or scientist.
Artificial Reef (Reefball)

Reefball in lagoon of Layang Layang Island. The objective of this project is to rehabilitate the habitat of coral reef.

Quadrate 50cm x 50cm used during the study at reefball. The purpose is to see the invertebrates that attached at Reefball's surface.

Reefball after 3 years, since April 14, 2005.

Atriolum robustum, attached with reefball after 6 months.

Juvenile fish can be seen at this structure after a year of deployment.

A group of "Green Humphead Parrotfish" (Bolbometopon muricatum).

From the top view, "Humphead Parrotfish" always swim around this structure. Usually they can be found in a big group, 10 to 30 tails.
