Collaborative Research

COLLABORATION BETWEEN FFRC AND DFCF, WAGENINGEN AGRICULTURE UNIVERSITY (WAU), NETHERLANDS

The twinning programme between Wageningen Agricultural University (WAU) and FFRC under the fund of the ASEAN-EC Aquaculture Development and Corporation Programme (AADCP) have been carried out for the four years duration (1990-1994).

The research activities include the various aspect of fish stock assessment, fish biology, limnology and the suitability of culturing fish in cages.

The beauty of Tasik Kenyir

One of the most significant outcomes from the studies is Fisheries Management of Tasik Kenyir in which this report present the proposal to manage the reservoir both for fisheries aspects as well as to develop the reservoir for eco-tourism.
