• Complex biodiversity & sensitive to perturbation

• Fish limited to shallow oxygenated water column

• Introduction of exotic species should be carefully studied
  Tilapias have manage to colonized the water bodies
  Only indegenous species should be stocked to enhance the fish population

• Management should try to conserve unique habitats
  Taking note that it is unrealistic to expect the whole area not be disturbed

• Aquatic plants - Salvinia   infestation could chokes off oxygen supply to other aquatic organisms

• Development & poaching from surrounding areas

• Fire probably the greatest danger
